We live in a dry, arid climate. It’s not quite desert, but it’s close. So it’s not surprising to see cacti and succulents used in landscape design.Or on a much smaller scale. It’s always a good idea to have a sack of aloe hanging around, in case of burn or cut.The plants themselves are fascinating to study. For the mathematicians out there, Fibonacci Sequence in nature.Like any other plant, cacti have to attract someone to polinte and propagate the species. These hardy rough plants always have a delicate flower. That doesn’t last very long.Just enough to do the job and wither.I’m not on the lookout for pokemon, I’m looking for what is interesting in my surroundings. Sometimes it is just a simple leaf.Take our climate and add water. The humble waterlilly, or lotus will send forth beautiful flowers from the murky muddy depths.Did the yellow and pink cross polinate? It sure looks like it.Color theory 101, pink and yellow gives us a lovely pale orange.
