And it’s done!
And it’s lovely! The problem of making things by hand is that the process is slow and I am aware of every small detail. Once the project is finished and I can look back and see it as a whole, I see it in a few light.
These are different ways it can be warn, and it all blends together beautifully.
It is unlikely to be worn like this – long and stretched out, but even like this, it is beautiful. To a certain extent the bright colors hide the lace, but not entirely. There are lace shawls that are overwhelmed by variegated color, this being a smaller project with a lace border – it is lovely.
A sure way to brighten up what I hope will be a rainy winter.
Not for me, this is going into the gift box, I have no idea who will receive it, but some lucky friend will!
