I had a cute floral print and went looking through my patterns. This is a good jumping off point. This is the result.
A print fabric makes the dress look completely different, also, I changed the skirt into a Dirndl style. All that lovely detail on the bodice disappears, but it does fit nicely.Very cute from the back as well. What better prop than a late summer rose. My roses do their best in the fall.Fun styling, I’ve had this hat for years. It doesn’t keep the sun off my face but it is a very nice accessory. The beaded bag is vintage, we have wonderful stores along Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank. Often the clothes don’t fit, but the accessories – they always do.And now, even though it is still very very hot, time to think of cool weather sewing.

I LOVE the photos for this dress. Really adorable! I especially love the second from the end. I love the dress too, but you are the bees knees!

Love it!
You are the bees knees! I adore collared dresses, and this one is gorgeous. I love seeing all the pics you post of your creations
I’m waiting for another picture of the best little girl who goes to sleep on time, with her personal quilt.
