Moving forward.

The table topper is basted.

I bought a bolt of this fabric at Sewing Arts Center. They were selling off bolts for $20. I liked the colors, only later did I realize this is about sports. Who cares, right now it’s being used as backing. I may even use it in the front of a quilt.

I am cross-stitching a label for my red and white quilt. No name, except mine and the date.

I took my macro lens out to capture a large spider on my front porch. Those pictures are too fuzzy, so here is a rose hip instead. That would be the fruit that shows up if you don’t cut the flowers.

I think I can say that I am 3/4 of the way finished! I find it very surprising when I fill in a hole to see what the piece actually looked like.

We took the subway to Hollywood. A ton of tourists, both local and foreign. I took this picture of the roof of the Groman Chinese theater from the Hollywood and Highland center. Gorgeous sunset. Dinner was at the Roosevelt hotel, I didn’t want just a plain old dinner on Hollywood Blvd. Also, Musso and Franks had no room.

Being Hollywood, people show up with pet goats.

See, it is Hollywood Blvd, there are the stars.
